Project Description

Our team worked alongside of designer Carl Magnusson and Teknion to design and develop a system of monitor arm products that would be flexible for changes in technology, hit specific cost targets, and always convey a sense of understated beauty. We engineered the broad range of products including a system of mounting styles, stationary arms, dynamic arms, and monitor mounts including ones for ipads and other tablets.

While always upholding or improving the designers aesthetic vision we incorporated functional engineering details such as ribs to create an arm that meets the highest strength requirements. To create this award-winning monitor arm system, our prototype and engineers quickly iterated through many versions of functional mockups, study models, and FEA analysis. From initial design brainstorming to finished production documentation our team guided the project to successful completion while maintain all of the parameters set in Teknion’s project brief.
