Project Description

Flavia, the single server beverage division of Mars Candies, was looking to rethink their merchandiser drawer system that holds packets of coffees and teas. The old system’s aesthetics did not fit with the new look of their coffee brewing machines and the fixed box design did not allow for customization. We developed a strategy for creating configurable modules that an installer could fit to a customer’s space and storage requirements, all while updating the aesthetics.

The modular system was engineered as individual drawer units that are held together with a clip system. The top is then finished off with a cover plate that is recessed to contain any spills that may occur from user’s resting coffee cups on the top of the drawers. Glossy clear fronts were designed to prominently display the content of each drawer. Popular with many major automotive dealerships, the removable handles allow for customized colors to match their specific brand.

Our innovative design and inventive engineering created a whole new way for Flavia to merchandise their single server beverage products.
