Project Description

Irwin Telescopic Seating turned to us for a refresh of their bleacher seating design. The old system had a dated aesthetic, was timely to install, and lacked the flexibility needed for various mounting techniques. Starting with a fresh look at the installation requirements, we developed a single molded part design that is easily reconfigured depending on the mounting location. We worked hard to design an aesthetic that was equally attractive as a single object as well as in rows. Another critical part of the design process was providing a well designed areas for school branding and row numbering. These areas had to be well defined to aid in assembly but not look out of place when no branding was used.

Our extensive knowledge of seating design and development was used to create a durable molded part that is comfortable, met strength requirements, and created a softer look in any gym or auditorium. Irwin released the bleacher seat design under the name Infinity and has been successfully installing the design in arenas in both high schools and universities around the country.
