Project Description

The V7™ Medical IT Station designed for Humanscale® has received many awards, patents, and accolades. With a 51 inch adjustment range, the V7 provides the healthcare industries best ergonomic range in a clean form factory. The V7 adjusts to accomodate 99% of male and female users both sitting and standing. The smooth surfaces were specifically designed with infectious disease control and cleanability in mind.

We created the V7 for Humanscale from nothing more than a concept and had it to market in record time. We utilized our design and engineering expertise to solve unique challenges seen in medical environment, such as infectious disease control, cable organization, and round the clock use. Our prototype shop and testing lab were crucial in creating quick mock ups to prove out the strength and durability of the design. To get the product to market quickly our team worked with a global group of manufacturers to work through manufacturing details, tool trials, and into the first few production runs. We also created final assembly fixtures to assemble the product in various factories around the world.
