Last year, the Diffrient Occasional™ Chair – a stackable guest chair designed to compliment Humanscale®’s Liberty®, Diffrient Smart™ and Diffrient World® chairs – debuted at NeoCon 2015 and received a Silver level Best of NeoCon award. The prototype was a success and the office chair is now available in a variety of finish options. Shea+Latone aided Humanscale and Niels Diffrient Design in the chair’s design, prototyping, engineering development, BIFMA testing and production. The Diffrient Occasional Chair has a configurable back that allows for customers to choose mesh seam shape to match the styles of other Humanscale task chairs and is stackable up to five chairs high.
