We are excited to announce that our friends at Allseating have won a Good Design Award for Zinc, a multipurpose stacking chair designed by Carl Gustav Magnusson.
Our team worked tirelessly to develop and engineer a chair that upheld Carl’s design intent while passing all necessary regulatory tests. The chairs signature cufflink detail is not just a beautiful detail but also allows for a strong arm connection to the plastic seat shell. The seat shell is engineered to accept a number of different options including arms, seat pads, and a variety of different bases.
Organized by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, GOOD DESIGN is a global competition that recognizes the latest, most advanced products and designs for their innovation and invention.
