In the June 8th, 2016 edition of the popular Business of Furniture publication, an article by Rob Kirkbride discusses Humanscale®’s intent to reveal never before seen designs by Niels Diffrient during NeoCon 2016. Earlier this week Humanscale did just that, showcasing prototypes of designs that Niels Diffrient had been working on at the time of his death in 2013.

One design we are particularly excited about is the much-anticipated follow up to Niels’ classic Jefferson Chair, a lounge chair designed for work. Named the Diffrient Lounge Chair, a prototype of this design was introduced at NeoCon 2016 and a design that we had worked closely with Niels and Humanscale on.
