Shea+Latone is proud to announce that the latest Humanscale® seating design from the late Niels Diffrient debuted at Neocon and received a Silver level Best of Neocon award. Our long standing relationship with both Humanscale and Niels Diffrient Design allowed us to aid in the design, prototyping, engineering development, BIFMA testing, and pre-production of the chair. We are happy to be involved in seeing Niel Diffrient’s designs to completion and upholding his high standards for seating design and ergonomics.
The Diffrient Occasional™ chair is a stackable guest chair that was designed to complement Humanscale’s current mesh task chair offerings of the Liberty®, Diffrient Smart™, and Diffrient World® chairs. Occasional Chair has a configurable back that allows for customers to choose mesh seam shape to match either style of existing Humanscale task chairs. The chair will be available soon in a variety of finish options and is stackable up to five chairs high.
